The inspiration for Maylis came from my early years of motherhood. From work to my family, so many facets of my life seemed to change faster than I could keep up with. I was constantly searching for wardrobe staples that would carry me effortlessly through each season, without needing to be set aside for months, or even years, at a time.

As women, we are wives and mothers, daughters and sisters, businesswomen and creatives, friends and neighbors. We juggle birthdays and board meetings, doctor’s appointments and date nights. We love deeply and we pour our hearts into others. We know that a single moment can hold both stress and sweetness, chaos and calm.

My hope is that in the midst of it all, Maylis inspires you to celebrate and appreciate the beauty in every day. For me, that starts with slipping into my favorite shoes—the ones that make the perfect finishing touch to any outfit, whether I’m dressed for work, play, or all of the above.
