A Day in Orlando with Ashley Brooke Chambers

Welcome to A Day In, a series highlighting the best ways to spend a day in our favorite cities, through the lens of their most stylish locals. Come along as Ashley Brooke Chambers shares her recommendations for a perfect day in Orlando, Florida.

Tell us a little about yourself!

Hi! I’m Ashley Brooke, a beauty and lifestyle blogger at ashleybrooke.com, where I’ve dedicated my time for over 10 years to celebrating life’s big moments and everyday adventures!

What is your favorite thing about where you live?

The sunshine, for sure. Even though the Summer is HOT HOT HOT, there’s no shortage of Vitamin D around here!

Which Maylis shoes are your favorites to wear out and about in Orlando?

The Rita Mule! SO comfortable!

When is the best time of year to visit Orlando?

I would say January-March; it’s downright magical.

If someone was spending one day in Orlando, what should their itinerary be?

I would head to Winter Park’s Park Avenue. It’s the most beautiful little street, tucked under expansive oak trees, with endless shopping and treats! You can spend the entire day just strolling the Avenue, playing in the park, and sipping prosecco at golden hour. Don’t miss the Winter Park Boat Tour--it’s the best way to see the town in all of its glory!

Rapid-fire Orlando favorites:

Coffee shop: Deeply Coffee
Brunch dish/restaurant: The Farmer’s Bowl at New General or Avocado Toast at The Financier
Street to stroll: Park Avenue
Store: The Heavy
Outdoor adventure: The Winter Park Boat Tour or the farmer’s market
Rainy day outing: The Enzian Theater
Place to go with kids: The Science Center or Leu Gardens
Place to go with friends: East End Market
Date night spot: Hillstone or Prato
Dessert dish/restaurant: Oreo Cookie at New General
Place to rest your head: The Grand Bohemian or Alfond Inn
